Course Description
  • Students implement software projects in groups of two or three. 
  • Each group is responsible for all aspects of the project:
    • topic definition
    • software design
    • coding
    • reporting
  • Grade: proposal presentation (30%), final report (70%).
  • Topics: evolutionary algorithms, machine learning
Surprise me!
Important:
   1. You must attend the first class.
   2. You must submit your project (i.e., report) by the end of the semester: 18.6.2021.
   3. No extensions except extensive miluim.
   4. You can work only in groups of 2 or 3. You may not work alone.
   5. Your project must be approved by the lecturer.
   6. Each group will present their project proposal during class on 22.3.2021. 
       Failure to attend & present for reasons other than those listed here on page 3 (clause 7.2)
       will result in a reduction of 30 points from the final grade.
   7. Failure to form a group and define a project by 22.3.2021 will result in a final grade of zero.
Final Report (please read this carefully!)
  • The final report should include the following sections:
    1. Introduction: What is the problem you are solving?
    2. Method: A description of the approach.
    3. Experimental setup.
    4. Results.
    5. Conclusions, lessons learned, thoughts on future improvement.
  • Language: Hebrew or English.
  • Length: 8-12 pages.
  • Don't include the code in the report. You may include a link.
  • Upload the report to the course moodle as a PDF file.
