Course Description
  • Students implement software projects in groups of two or three. 
  • Each group is responsible for all aspects of the project: topic definition, software design, programming, reporting.
  • Grade: proposal presentation (30%), project's quality & final report's quality (70%).
Important:
   1. You must attend the first class.
   2. You must submit your project (i.e., report) by the end of the semester: 22.1.2016.
   3. No extensions except extensive miluim.
   4. You can work only in groups of 2 or 3. You may not work alone.
   5. Your project must be approved by Professor Sipper.
   6. Each group will present their project proposal during class on 25.11.2015 (Wednesday, 12-14). 
       Failure to attend & present for reasons other than those listed here on page 3 (clause 7.2)
       will result in a reduction of 30 points from the final grade.
   7. Failure to form a group and define a project by 25.11.2015 will result in a final grade of zero.

Final Report (please read this carefully!)
  • The final report should include the following sections:
    1. What problem or need does your app serve?
    2. A description of the app's functionality and main features.
    3. The UI (user interface).
    4. An overview of the software (NOT a listing of the code).
    5. Conclusions, lessons learned, thoughts on future improvement.
  • Language: Hebrew or English.
  • Length: 7-15 pages.
  • Don't include the code in the report.
  • Don't send the report by e-mail: place a hard copy in my mailbox.
